Of not updating. So my friends have been telling me. Let's take a Timeturner and rewind all that has happened...
- My senior.
Isn't angry at me already, thank god. Time heals all wounds. =D (I believe it - for now.)
- Chinese New Year.
MORE ANGBAOS! I'm not sure if I'm even going my father's side this year, because grandma passed away last year and Mum says there is no need for us to keep in contact anymore. She dislikes my father's siblings, obviously. And me, I dislike being the youngest one there and the cousin closest to my age is fucking 21/22.
Mum's side's relatives came over on 9th and 10th Feb. Wanted to catch Constantine with Jacin jie and rest of the older, no, young adults (:P) but Wan Xi and Juan didn't want to watch that. Besides, it's a 1.30am show --- their father would NEVER allow it. We went to Compass Point in the end, and ate a bit. Which reminded me - I SAW SHI QIN! What the fuck is she doing there on New Year? Honestly I'm a bit worried for her. Must ask Shan.
Watched Racing Stripes on the 10th with Wan Xi, Juan and Ru. Damn lame movie. Mosquitoes/house flies trés irritating.
Oh, and Alex gave me an angbao. xD $10. (My dad says he very miserly.) Xiu also had a $10 angbao from Bossini.
- I Do, I Do
... not want to marry you. Unless you are a certan Bear. ;)
Went to Bugis with Xiu and Xin to watch the movie. Wanted to go Suntec City cos SOMEONE wanted to go KBox, even though she had a sore throat. Haha. But we left too late, so didn't go KBox in the end.
Called Ika a dozen times and caused the wrath of her brother and the girl STILL doesn't wake up. *(#&%(*#%&. Promised to treat her movie (*said while crossing finger*) and she STILL doesn't want to come out. Lazy pig man. Sleep until 3pm.
Movie was okay; I didn't really expect much from Jackie Neo. I like the ending though, when it all turned out to be a matchmaking scam. But sweet Jesu, what Singaporeans would risk lives to save someone? I would believe breaking open the door but I most certainly DON'T believe in going up god-knows-how-many-stories just to save the girl. She's not even pretty. -.-
- Bear
Me and Pamela have a common. We both like guys with broken families.
Just talked to Bear in MSN. Sigh.

Survey Qns: Would you lose your viriginty before marriage?
Thursday, February 03, 2005
This whole entry is dedicated to the wonderful word, "sex".
I'm just curious. How many of you are willing to lose your virginity before marriage? Because I ain't. (Traditional me all the way. :P) I asked Leo this question, and he told me the answer was no. Was rendered a bit surprised, because moi thought most guys would. Heh, then again, maybe Leo isn't most guys.
A couple of girls I know (eg Xiu, Pri, my ex-classmate Dorisa) said it depended. I'm guessing that means that if the guy was perfect and they were ready, then they'd go ahead. I don't know about that though... wouldn't you want to save yourself for marriage? What if the guy you're marrying expects you to be a virgin?
Methinks am sounding like Aunt Agony. No, more like the advice columnist for Teenage. Can't remember her name.
Of course there are still those who are like me. Steffi, one of my school juniors for example. Though, you never know. What if you really like the guy so much that you throw caution to the wind? Kind of reminds me of One Tree Hill, where Haley doesn't want to have sex till marriage, so Nathan married her. So sweet eh? Unfortunately this doesn't happen in real life. Not usually anyway.
What do you think?

Too effing lazy to update. :S Today went with Xin and Ika to Orchard. Was supposed to go Goldlink main office, but didn't again, because they supposedly close at 12pm and it was already 11.30am. So I slept late a tiny bit lor. Not my fault lah. If she told me earlier that it closes at 12, then I wouldn't have been late. Oops.
Went to Bugis because they wanted to shop and find Cheryl. Guess what? We couldn't find her - again. GEEZ. Just not fated to meet. -_- Anyway. Ika wanted to go Bugis street, and we saw this stall with really cheap cds. I thought they were pirated but now I'm not sure. I bought the Angela album. Damn if the cd cover didn't felt real. Xin bought a skirt at OG, while Ika went camera happy, Xin-style. Snapping photos everywhere, including wheels of clothes racks.
Gave up finding Cheryl, so we headed over to Orchard to find Xin's colleagues even though Xin was "banned from your workplace". Ika says it was open to interpretation; Takashimaya so big. It could mean one section of Taka. Xin wanted to introduce Jed to us, but he was too shy. Haha, very cute. I told her never mind if he doesn't want to; no point call him to do something he doesn't want, right?
Became so bored, so we walked all the way to Plaza Singapura. Wanted to pick Pri up, but she had already went home. Actually, Ika and I were already very bored and wanted to go home, but Xin wanted to look for a job in Pizza Hut there (Kwee Kheong said they were looking for people). Asked the bloody manager and he told us no. Scowl.
Yesterday, Ika and Xin came over to the Lego shop to buy me dinner. They played dress up with the Knights Kingdom (prpty of Lego) armour and sword.
So cute right? We made a little movie too, consisted of their 'fighting' and our laughter. Each time Ika jabbed Xin, Xin dropped one of her two swords. No, not dropped. Tossed it away. Diao. Lucky there was nobody else in the shop - though someone walked pass and said, "Eh, look! Got people fighting!"
Mwahaha.
P/s: Damn the adult fare. Went out with $8+++, came back with $3. Idiotic.
To be or not to be?
Friday, January 28, 2005
Zat is ze million dollar question many is puzzling over. Scratch many, everyone fits more. You're friends with this guy, but you develop deeper feelings for him. You're afraid to tell him, because it might ruin the great friendship with him, but yet you want something more.
Kind of like Bear and I now. Actually, not really. More like Xiu and Jim, I think. :P Bear and I have been friends since 2001, and it was only last year that we showed interest in each other. But I don't think too much into it, because I'm not sure if he's teasing or not. I don't want to feel like an idiot, because honestly? He used to be this really big jerk. If he turns out to be like Tong Ming... God, I think I might just kill him (or myself).
How to snag the guy:
1. Don't flirt too obviously. Subtle touches on the hand, making lame jokes to make him laugh, and find his ticklish part. ;)
2. Call him dear in text messages and MSN. If he appears shocked, say you were just fooling around so you wouldn't feel like a bloody stupid idiot. Most of the time, they will play along.
3. Ask him what kind of girl he likes. Naturally, he'll ask why. Singaporeans hardly ever do anything without given a reason. Too suspicious, our lot of people.
4. Ask him how many girlfriends he had/if he had a girlfriend now? If he had a girlfriend now, you'd probably know already anyway. Besides, most of you say, all fair's in love and war. Who cares if he has a girlfriend?
5. Hint him. Tell him you like this guy who is 6 feet tall and loves basketball. His favourite music is blah blah blah. Tell him everything you know about him. He's got to be dumb if he doesn't catch on.
I don't claim to be some expert. Use methods at own risk. ;)
Workplaces
Didn't blog yesterday. x_x Dad repainted the room today, and it reeks of paint. Egad.
Today is my third day of working alone in the shop. I like. Kind of anyway. Gives you a lot of freedom, but I constantly worry if I sold enough stuff. Li Jun was very good, I'm told. Was filing my nails today (thanks to Cas) when there was nobody in the shop. Finally decided that nails with polish aren't good for filing.
Cheryl had an off day today and came over to Plaza Singapura with Jim to catch a movie. The two of them plus Pri came to look for me when I closed the shop. Pri didn't stay to chat with me, even though she lets off at 8.30pm. -_-
Went home with them, duh, and hey, guess what, they did it again. I hate ranting about that, but since this is my blog and you wouldn't be reading it if you weren't interested, I'll do it. Pri and Cheryl started talking about Bossini again. And even though Jim is there, I feel very left out lor. Why? Because I don't work there, duh. And since they love talking about their workplace, I don't bother interrupting. Not that I didn't try. But they seem too into their conversation to hear me.
So a couple of weeks back, I decided if Xiu, Pri and Cheryl went out together, I wouldn't go with them. Feel like a fourth wheel in a tricycle if I went lor. And super left out. Also feel like Xiu and Pri drifting away liao and can't do shit about it. ---k.
Keys
Wednesday, January 26, 2005
Alex gave me the shop key! Yay! I guess this means I pass the test. ^-^ It's a rather heavy key. Heavy keys = heavy responsibility?
I remember this time in 2003 where my class was supposed to return to school for IT lessons. I was good friends with Chan then, and we hung out together during lunch breaks. So when lunch breaks come, the IT teacher will lock the IT lab and we'll go for an hour break. Chan and I finished lunch early and came back to the lab, hoping the IT teacher would be back already so we can surf the net. But he wasn't. So we fooled around and Chan took out her keys, pretending to open the door and guess what?
It opened.
The key fitted! Hahaha. Chan and I were so excited, but we daren't go in, in case someone accuse us of breaking into school property. So we hid at the staircase until like half the class went in. I'll never forget the bewildered look on the IT teacher when he came in.
So anyway, I close shop today myself and had to wait for Pri for an hour plus because she was supposed to do CNY decorations. Bah. She had better wait for me on Thursday (speaking of Thursday, it's Cas' birthday). I walked around and stopped outside a closed 77th Street to watch the telly outside. It was showing an advertisement of places 77th Street was in when I saw Compass Point. And 3 NCHS students there. I recognised one of them. Priscilla, from ex-4E. She was crossing her arms and looking 'bu shuang'. Ahaha. Nice pose.
Xiu and Jim came over to PS today to catch a movie and wait for Pri. Too bad Xiu doesn't know I work upstairs, or she could accompany me for a while. Sigh. They two still look very lovey-dovey. Haha. I shall zip my lips in case Xiu boxes me because the two of them are supposedly not dating. Ahem.
Just remembered. Camera guy on the train. Me and Pri were sitting in the two-seat, chatting. There are two guys across us. One of the guy had his handphone suspiciously high, but we assumed he was messaging someone. Then chatting halfway - we heard a shutter sound. You know the kind handphones make when you take a pic with the handphone cam. Ahaha, no wonder he had his handphone so high up. At that moment, Pri and I were silent. I looked at her and the two of us started laughing. After which, the guy slept/pretended to sleep, arms folded and a weird smile on his face. Average looking bah. Eh, Pri, not bad ar. Got people secretly take your photo. Must admit a bit pervertic though. Lol.
Oh, saw Wei Jie again at PS. Is he working there?

Tuesday, January 25, 2005
Just woke up and had lunch. Had a rather cute dream of a rather cute dance instructor. Haha. Don't ask how my brain works.
Dad drove Mum to her annual checkup today. Honestly, I think my father's a really big jerk sometimes. He was scolding Mum today. No, scold is a mild word. More like making accusations. So anyway, my mum told me that when she got off his car at the hospital, my dad started to drive off, before she could close the car door. And my silly mum hurried to close the door, which resulted in her falling down. My FUCKING dad didn't even stop to ask if she was okay. He just FUCKING drove away. Damn. Feel like strangling him sometimes.
Right now my parents are with my 3 aunts in the living room. Talking about the tsunamis again and why the newspaper showed about a China woman, but not about Singaporean kids. Huh. Dad started insulting the journalists. Honestly. I planned to join the newspaper when I graduate and you dare talk about my paper like that. *scowl*
Will blog later. Got to prepare for work. >.<
(I wonder if Jia Yi is working at PS today.)
Okay, one thing about me, I'm a bloody introvert. Xin said she was going to meet Jed and Xiang You so that they would return her her money. She also said she wasn't going to hang out with them when I was like huuuuuuuh. Because I don't know her colleagues, so I would feel like a major extra if they hang out. I'm not like Ika or anybody else - I can't just adapt. I'm super self conscious and very dependent on others. That's just how I am and I can't change (or maybe I can, but I may not be willing to).
Eh, Xin, I'm not trying to this on purpose to make things difficult on you. I'm not blaming you either (not really). I just feel really uncomfortable. And EXTRA.
And I have a confession to make. I skipped work today. :S Told Lay Hoon that I have diarrhoea.
The Art of Dance
People say a picture is worth a thousand words. Music is used to explain something nobody can in plain words. But dance - dance conveys so many things. The movement, the intensity... There's something about dancing that I find sexy. o.O
Right. I'll come clean to why I'm talking about this. Watched Shall We Dance? today with Xin at Lido. The dances were good - you can feel the tension when Richard Gere and J. Lo. pranced around the empty dance school - the movie had amusing parts, but geez, no romance. How very disappointing. I was hoping at least someone would end up with J. Lo.. Other dance movies were better. AKA Dirty Dancing 2. That was a good one. The dances were sexy. ^-^
I love watching dances. Participated once for Graduation concert in Primary 6 and learnt the one Mandy choreographed in Sec 1. Oh, and did the cheerleading routine too, in Sec 2. Damn, but the skirts were so bloody... Anyway. I like all sorts of dances. Hip hop, pop, ballroom dancing, cheerleading... The movements are so fantastic! I'm no born dancer, so I ain't even gonna try.
Well, back to a non-related topic. Went with Xin to Trade Mart, where we thought where the main office of her company, Goldlink, is. It wasn't. -_- We went pass this really creepy bungalow and started running. Lol. I shall ask Xin to upload the pics she took with her digital cam and put some up here.
Oh, and I bought Doing It by Melvin Burgess in Kinokuniya (Ngee Ann City). Found a few more that I want, but couldn't remember. Such as The Nerd Who Loved Me by Vicki Lewis Thompson (Jesus. What's up with the super long name?).
... Continuing the rest in the next entry on another topic.

Ahhhh. Finally some time to myself so I can blog. Been working hard on Wizarding World 2025 (yes, another RPG site) but still can't finish it. I spent a really long time on it already. Groan. Finally enlisted help from Molly and Dani. Or I wouldn't have time to blog. >.<
Wanted to find Cheryl earlier when me and Cas went to Bugis Junction. But couldn't. Aiyo. Twice already. That time I went to find her, but her shift was over. Today I went to find her; she was having her break. Cannot pang-seh Cas to find her right.
Watched Finding Neverland at the BJ cinema. Bloody hell, I feel so short inside. The chairs were too bloody tall! Too difficult to see. An angmoh sat beside me. He quite cute sia, but looks in his 20s. Outta my league. Not that I was looking in the first place. ;) Anyway, FN was really nice. I found Johnny Depp's accent really... strange. Like he's an Indian trying to speak like a Brit. Rrreally verrry funnny. Cas said it was only so-so. I feel like boxing her sia, lol. She keeps reminding me about The Boss' Daughter, which Ashton Kutcher stars in, which also means it SUCKED. Big time. And I chose that movie. Cas likes to remind me that I have very bad movie tastes. Harrumph.
Bloody MSN is giving me problems.
Oh yeah, I ate at Fish and Co. earlier too. For the first time. The whole meal costs about $15 bucks. Beats Swensen's I guess. I wonder if I could tell the person that you want to 'complete the meal with soup and the large drink' but without the fish and chips. Was pretty much broke after movie and that meal.
Also went to Kinokuniya and came out feeling miserable because moi didn't have Nets with me today. Wanted to buy a couple of books.
Lego's Fundamental Beliefs
Saturday, January 22, 2005
Children are our role models.
Children are curious, creative and imaginative. They embrace discovery and wonder, they are natural learners. These are precious qualities that should be nurtured and stimulated throughout life.
From the Lego website.
Bricks World
Sob. I meant to blog yesterday, but I didn't, because my dad was renovating my study room and he plugged out the computer to move it across the room. So yeah, I couldn't blog my first day of work at Plaza Singapura.
Hmm. Where to start? My supervisors are Lay Hoon and Alex (a married couple with a daughter about 2 years old). Lay Hoon is very nice, but she's sort of... naggy? I like her, but if I wanted to speak, I'd have to wait for her to finish talking (which is rather long because she jumps topics very quickly. Like me. -_-). And we all know how forgetful I am; I forget things the next second. Fortunately, I still remember how to use the cashier. Heh.
I can't judge much on Alex, because I haven't known him for a period of time yet. We shall know soon, since I'm supposed to train with him tomorrow (groan, a weekend. Bound to have a lot of people. At least I got through a public holiday...). I met Li Jun today though - the girl who was quitting so I could take over. Li Jun is older than me by a year, and she's nice. I only wish she were working with me. Maybe the reason she quitted is because she lives too far away.
On to the next person. Alice. Aka the mastermind of Lego Exclusive shop. She has a degree in Public Relations, so she's very good at talking. I heard she's very strict too. Thank goodness I'm training here and not in Ngee Ann City, where her shop is. Lay Hoon said her husband loved legos, so they came up with this Bricks World shops. Last year they won some sort of award for selling the most legos or something, overtaking Toys R' Us and Robinson's.
Well anyway. Yesterday Jia Yi (Low) came to find me. Apparently he was working for his uncle selling luggage bags and coincidentally at Carrefour that day (outdoor sales). Since I closed shop at 9.30pm and out at 10pm, I went to look for him at Carrefour. He was supposed to be out at 10.30, but I was so bored, and so he left early to accompany me. We saw Jerry Ong (Singapore Idol finalist) there too, but - surprise, surprise - only Jia Yi made a big fuss about it. Dots.
After that we went to look for Pri at Bossini. The shop front said they closed at 9.30, but Pri says it's actually 10. So we waited for her till about 10.45. Man. And if Pri is reading this - you're very troublesome, you know. Cannot wear Bossini shirt home arh? Not as if Bossini shirt that ugly right? Change clothes for what?
Waited for Kwee Kheong then, since I knew he worked at Pizza Hut. He lived in Sengkang anyway, so we can all go home together. I chatted with him more these 2 days than I did in the past year. Heh.
Plus it doesn't hurt that he gets to bring home a pizza. And we can all eat. :P
So long for now. It's a boring entry, I know. Learn to live with it. ;)

I got assaulted. :O The shock! The horror! The humiliation!
Okay, so it was just online. -_- My stupid computer stupidly hung, so I couldn't show you guys the messages. Basically this dude (whose email I got from HabboHotel) who is YOUNGER than me asked me to have cybersex with him. o.O Apparently his friend emailed him some porn and he got turned on. Argh! I'm still young and innocent! Ahahahaha.
I'm not really offended ba. Just sorta amused. And disgusted. It comes as no surprise that guys go to porn sites (how would I know eh?); a few of my friends do. What's surprising is that they admitted. Now I have something to use against them when they get girlfriends. ;)
Anyway. Right now I'm in IRC with Edwin (IRC friend from yesterday). We both pretending to be lesbians and steads with each other to bluff this other guy in the channel. Haha. Very hilarious.

Elektra and Pizza Hut
Wednesday, January 19, 2005
I'm a very easily distracted person. So do forgive, if this post is short. I'm dying to go to IRC, because I've made some new friends there yesterday (I shan't tell you what sex they are. *whistles*), and I so do not want to go there until I finished blogging. Ain't I dedicated. ;)
Went over to Plaza Singapura today to catch Elektra with Xin and to console her because she just got fired from Takashimaya. Not that I was much help, because I kept commenting that I was going to start work tomorrow (*cringe*). Anyway. I assumed that the Taka person Rachel or something was too jealous of Xin's sales. I find it odd why she was just fired like that. Maybe it had something to do about her getting herself drunk last night. -_- Wish I was there.
The horror. I haven't tasted beer yet (okay, maybe just a sip) and I'm already soon to be 17. Eek. Better go steal my dad's alcohol or I'll miss my chance of underage drinking.
Elektra was nice by the way. Pretty Jennifer Garner. =D And the little girl, Abby, was - pardon my lack of words - cool. She had this whip and is damn good at fighting. A whip. *Nudge nudge wink wink* I won't talk too much about that, in case some of you wants to watch it.
And before I forgot, Xin and I went to Pizza Hut to eat. They have this special offer where you get a Supreme pizza and you get 6 free drumlets and 2 soups. Yummmm. Love the veg soup and the drumlets. For all my 4 years in NCHS, all my classmates have been telling me vegetable soup sucks. They're nuts.
Back to Pizza Hut. Guess who was working there? K³ (Kwee Keong). OMG, I feel so bad. I nearly forgot his name just now. =X I thought he was Swee Keng. Luckily, I didn't blurt his name out. Saw his name tag and - AH! - I miraculously remembered. Hehe. Chatted with him and found out that he was on his 6th day there. PH's pay is $4/hr. Worse than mine. Hiak hiak. :P
I'm on to IRC now. If you see wenX----` online, it's me. ;)
My New Obsession
Tuesday, January 18, 2005
Alrighty, am going to start work at the Lego shop, aka Bricks World, tomorrow afternoon. I shouldn't be nervous, since I already worked at 3 jobs already. Another one is no biggy right? But I'm supposed to read this Lego catalogue, and remember things, which is impossible, because my brain processes really slow and I am very damned forgetful. Jeepers creepers.
I went through the catalogue yesterday, and I get this strange pangs. I wanted to take out my Lego set (yes, I do play Lego when I was young. If you think Lego is for boys, well, screw yourselves. :) ). Unfortunately, I could only find one box of it when I had three. And with no ground plates, I can't make shit! *grumble grumble*
I did ask my dad where it was. Since my dad is now in this happy, take-out-everything-and-renovate-the-house-for-new-year mood, he ought to know where it was.
"Eh, Pa. I feel like playing Lego leh. Where arh?" I was asking him from my couch, having gotten sick of watching TV (even though Charlene and Gillian look really pretty in the show).
"Sod off."
Or something like that anyway. He likes to scold me a lot. -.-
When I'm watching TV, he will say, "Whole day watch television, never go out walk walk. Later become fat then you know."
When I go out to 'walk walk', he will claim, "Whole day go out shopping, like to waste money hor? Go work lah!" (Even though I am going to work. On Thursday.)
When I surf the net or play PC games, he will say, "Everytime use the computer. Stay inside there lah!"
Weirdo.
I remember when I was young. In Primary School. My dad bought me these lego boxes and we'd piece everything together. Sigh. I miss those days. As quoted from my father, nowadays we "can't talk without quarreling". True dat. I have difficulties talking to my father without arguing, though he's a Capricorn, and I'm a Virgo, and we're suppose to interact and yok yok happily and ensure world peace at home. Bah.
I'm going to add that in my birthday wishlist, despite my birthday being in August. No no, not the part about world peace, the part where I'm now in love with Lego. Hoho.
P/s: Didcha know that CLIKITS is part of Lego? o.O I didn't.

Sigh.

I feel terrible now. My senior angry at me.
Will try to blog afterwards.
Internet Plans
Tuesday, February 01, 2005
Mwahahaha, I hold the upper hand! =D Both Starhub and Singnet are fighting over me.
Because my dad's a existing Starhub user, they called to ask us to sign up for the Maxonline 1500 plan. Currently they are having a CNY promotion, so they're giving away a HP Photosmart R607 digital camera with each signup of Maxonline 1500.

Yawn
Shopping @ BJ
Sunday, January 23, 2005

Who is Jazz?
Jazz, aka, Jess is moi. A sixteen-going-on-seventeen teenage girl, currently waiting for her O-level results, and reduced to a
slacking state until she finds a job. Is very lazy; quitted a 11hr/day job after the first day. *shrugs* That's the way I am.
Why Jazz?
As you probably figured it out, Jazz is a pseudomyn of mine. I don't remember when I started calling myself Jazz: either
my senior gave me that nick, or my friends, because we used to hang out at Rivervale Mall, where there is a shop there called
"Jazz". I like to kid that I own that shop. ;)
Where I studied
Ang Mo Kio BLK 301 Kindergarten. There was this huge girl who likes to bully me. Grr.
Mayflower Primary School. Classes 1E, 2C, 3A, 4G, 5A, 6A. Got first position in Primary 1, second in Primary 2, 24th
in Primary 3. Bleah. BTW, my classes from Primary 3 - 6 are the best classes. Nani nani poo. Believe it or not, I took
Higher Chinese. Who would have thought yeah? My Chinese SUCKS.
Nan Chiau High School. Hoho. Classes 1F, 2F, 3F, 4F. My favourite letter. My classmates in Secondary 3 contemplated
calling us Flower, so when we get to Secondary 4, we'd be Flower 4 (F4). Mwahahaha.
What I like
Many things. Though much lesser than what I hate. Randomly: Michelle Branch, french fries, J K Rowling, Linkin Park,
Ginny Weasley, Meg Cabot/Jenny Carroll, comics, Norah Jones, journalism, web designing, graphics making, Graduation (Friends Forever),
shopping, Lego (!!), salted popcorn, catching movies, hanging around doing nothing w/ friends, playgrounds w/ swings...
Angelus
A good of friends whom I was very close to in my Secondary School years. We called ourselves Angelus when we were doing a
project in Secondary 1, and the name stuck. It fits anyway. We're all angels. :D We tell our secrets to each other instead of only
one in the Angelus. Sometimes I feel left out though: Pri and Xiu in the same combined Science class and now working in Bossini; Xin and Ika
in Triple Science classes and same English class... I'm the odd one in between. I'm in Double Science, in an Art class. Odd numbers
in cliques are never good.
Priscilla Goh, aka Pri
My very best friend now. When we were both in Sec 1, we joined this clique, where the girls are snobbish and - ERUGH.
She loves comics a lot, and possibly got me addicted as well. It's an unhealthy hobby, I tell ya. We didn't use to be that close
until towards the end of Sec 3. We go home together all the time on the LRT where we'd chat and keep track of things since
we aren't in the same class.
Zhou Xiumin, aka Xiu
My best friend in Secondary 1, 2 and beginning of Sec 3. I clicked with her, though not immediately. We used to be very close,
and we'd go for dinner most of the weekdays, when my parents were working, and hers weren't cooking. We started getting close
when I told her I like TM and she told me she liked JY. Secrets made one another trust. Unfortunately, when I say beginning of Sec 3,
I mean that we aren't best friends anymore. We used to go to basketball courts with the boys and watch them play basketball while
we chatted. We drifted apart when she got more popular and had boyfriends, and totally split when her junior badmouted me. It was only in
the second term of Sec 4 that I wrote her a semi-long letter to explain why I didn't go for her birthday and to ask for forgiveness.
Though it wasn't my fault - it was that junior's.
Jessica Wee, aka Ika
I gave her that name because everyone was calling Jess and we two kept getting confused. Mwahaha, ain't I evil, to claim
Jess to myself. Ika is very outgoing and has many friends, mostly female though. I think some boys are afraid of her, because
she's very outspoken. Bah. Drop dead, you guys. Ika is a very good friend, and always know how to make people laugh.
Alixues Chua, aka Xin
Alixues is a name she gave herself. I rather call her Xin; lesser syllables. Xin is perhaps the only one who can connect
with me about writing; we are both very passionate about it. I think she writes better, but Miss Heng says Xin is more descriptive,
and I am better with dialogue. Oh well. Me and Xin are the ones who kept up with Angeldust (a little newsletter we did for our class)
till the very end.
Secondary School
Wan Qian, aka Ah Ma
Not sure when I started calling her Ah Ma. Anyway, she likes to claim that she is over 90 years old, and likes to 'spank'
me when I'm bad. Haha, jk. She's very nice and patient, and laughs at almost all of my lame jokes. :D Someone I can commiserate with.
Chan Siying, aka Chan or Chansey
I got to know her more during one of our Opera classes. We sat together and made fun of Jia Yi and Edwin, plus share food when the
teacher isn't looking. She's quite a good friend of mine in Secondary 3 and beginning of Secondary 4; we sat together for quite a few
times. Too bad we got distant, because we had to split seats when the teacher wanted us to be according to our register numbers. Angela
stole Chan away. Sigh. At least now me and Chan are chatting and going out together.
